Iter Nimbus (Game Jam Submission)


Introduction: 

Hello fellow  cloud enthusiasts! This game was released by me, two friends and my wife who helped create the thumbnail.  This is the first Game Jam I have ever joined, and the first project I truly worked on and finished to completion. I always had a ton of ideas for games, but never did anything with it. With this first project I learned a lot of lessons, specifically with having an idea and how to implement it.

Things left out:

There are a couple things I did not have time to finish properly adding.  I wanted the transition to happen smoother between levels, and I had an idea for sliding in all the assets. Thought that would be fun, I may add that in regardless for Game Design practice purposes but I won't update the game since that is not a bug fix, its an enhancement. There were also phases planned for the bosses, but I did not have time to develop it as the bulk of the development happened on Friday the day before I had to submit the work. 

Known Issues:
  • Clouds do not fade out when they collide with the player.
  • Bosses do not change animation state when damaged.
  • Music resets every time you click try again.
Fixes:
  • Fixed colliders of the clouds, as they were not to scale for the shape of the other clouds that were being spawned randomly.
